Christmas School Day 1

This year we are doing regular school most days during Advent but are doing "Christmas School" on Fridays.  Last Friday the boys worked diligently helping to make chocolate dipped pretzels, pizzas and coffeecakes (for us and for some friends), and cleaning up afterwards.  In addition we listened to some beautiful Christmas music and read several Christmas books.

Yum, yum! Those pretzels are one of our favorite things to make this year! Did Caity come up with that???? I think someone said earlier that we have a bit in common.:)
Great job, boys! What a blessing you are to your family, and I especially love the "cleaning up" picture!
Hugs,
Queen Mom

We've made the chocolate dipped pretzels ever since I remember helping bake goodies in the winter, but I do think Daddy and I tie for liking them the most. sweet and salty...it doesn't get much better (except for toffee chocolate chip scone, which are in a class entirely separate =p).

I can't begin to guess how long we've made these. I remember making them when we moved into our previous home (Caity was 2yo) and we had two men in to install an alarm system. I told them to help themselves if they wanted any and then stepped away for a bit. When I came back the whole batch was gone! I've probably made them our whole married life and this is our 24th Christmas.

I thought I was the one who liked them most. Hmmm...guess they are just a favorite around here.
